Aaron J. Kowan
Mr. Kowan, a founding member of Kowan | Cordon, provides tax and business advice to domestic and international clients in a wide variety of partnership, limited liability company, corporate and joint venture transactions. In particular, he has broad experience dealing with federal, state and international tax issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, fund syndication, startup companies, and executive compensation.
In addition, a significant portion of his practice concentrates on the representation of investors, developers, and syndicators nationwide in connection with tax-incentivized investments, including conservation motivated real estate funds, low income housing tax credits, renewable energy tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, new markets tax credits, entertainment/film tax credits and a spectrum of other state specific credits.
